In Italy, the Festa della Liberazione celebrates the end of oppression and the rebirth of a country that began again to breathe, to create and to live.

This Saturday, at Língua Madre, we bring these two stories to the same table: Portuguese freedom, celebrated in the streets, and Italian freedom, lived slowly through time, food and encounter.
